How the Booking and Admission Process Works
Directly as stated in the official AKMMC fee circular
Step 1: Send all academic documents to AKMMC for eligibility verification.
Step 2: Pay US$10,000 to the college bank account via TT/SWIFT as a non-refundable advance to book your international seat.
Step 3: Once the $10,000 is received, AKMMC issues a Provisional Letter of Confirmed Admission.
Step 4: Within two weeks of receiving the provisional letter, pay the remaining US$10,000 to complete the 1st installment total of $20,000.
Step 5: Once the full $20,000 is received, AKMMC issues the Final Letter of Confirmed Admission. You then use this for your Bangladesh student visa.

AKMMC is, in my opinion, one of the strongest choices for Indian students who want to study MBBS in Bangladesh without compromising on clinical exposure or degree credibility. The Dhanmondi location alone sets it apart from colleges in smaller cities, because five years in one of Dhaka’s best neighbourhoods gives you access to everything, good hospitals, reliable transport, good food, and a safe environment, without sacrificing academic quality.
The number that I keep coming back to when families ask me about AKMMC is the FMGE data. In 2025, 51.72% of AKMMC graduates cleared FMGE against a Bangladesh national average of around 33%. That is not a small difference. That is a gap that tells you something real about how the college prepares students for what actually matters after graduation. In 2022, 51.28%. The 2023 figure of 30% is the outlier, not the trend.
The one thing I will be direct about is the $20,000 first installment. This is a significant upfront number and families need to plan for it properly. The installment schedule after that becomes much more manageable, $8,000, then $7,000, then $5,000 twice.
