This Privacy Policy explains how SamadMBBS.com collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit our website, contact us on WhatsApp, watch content on the Samad Vlogs MBBS YouTube channel, or engage with our admission guidance services in any form.
Please read this policy carefully. By using SamadMBBS.com or communicating with us, you confirm that you have read and understood how we handle your personal data. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use our website or services.
1. Who We Are
SamadMBBS.com is operated by Osama and Samad, two individual operators based in Bangladesh and India respectively. We are not a registered company or formal legal entity at this time. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, references to “SamadMBBS,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to the operators of this website and the associated WhatsApp guidance service.
Our primary contact for all privacy-related matters is Osama. You can reach us at:
- WhatsApp: +91 91305 90965
- Website: samadmbbs.com
2. What Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information in two ways — information you provide to us directly, and information collected automatically when you visit our website.
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you contact us on WhatsApp, fill out a contact form, or engage with our admission guidance service, you may share the following types of personal information with us:
- Full name of the student and parent or guardian
- Mobile number and WhatsApp number
- Email address
- State and city of residence in India
- NEET scorecard showing NEET score and roll number
- 10th standard marksheet showing subject-wise marks and board details
- 12th standard marksheet showing PCB marks and board details
- Passport details including passport number, date of issue, and date of expiry, provided when the admission process is confirmed and documentation begins
- Date of birth
- Passport-size photograph submitted for college application purposes
- Financial information shared voluntarily during scholarship eligibility assessment, such as general family income range. We do not collect bank account numbers, credit card details, or any payment instrument details at any stage.
- Any other documents you choose to share with us in the course of the admission process, such as transfer certificates, migration certificates, or previous academic records
We collect only what is necessary for the specific service you are requesting. For a free eligibility check, we typically need only your marksheets. For full admission processing, we require the document set listed above. We do not ask for information beyond what is genuinely needed for the service at hand.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit SamadMBBS.com, certain information is collected automatically by our website infrastructure and third-party services integrated into the site. This includes:
- IP address of your device
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Pages visited on our website and time spent on each page
- Referring website — the page you came from before arriving at SamadMBBS.com
- Date and time of your visit
- Device type — mobile, tablet, or desktop
- Approximate geographic location based on IP address, typically at city or region level
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies — explained in detail in Section 8 of this policy
This automatically collected data does not directly identify you by name. It is used to understand how visitors use our website, to improve our content, and for advertising purposes through Google AdSense as described below.
3. Why We Collect Your Information — Purposes of Processing
We use your personal information only for the specific purposes for which it was collected. The purposes are:
3.1 Eligibility Assessment
To calculate your BM&DC GPA using your 10th and 12th marksheets and confirm whether you meet the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council’s eligibility requirements for MBBS admission as an Indian student. This is a free service and your marksheets are used for this calculation only.
3.2 Admission Guidance and Processing
Where you engage SamadMBBS for full admission management, your documents — including marksheets, passport, NEET scorecard, and photographs — are used to complete the following steps of the Bangladesh MBBS admission process: DGME equivalence certificate application, document attestation coordination, college application submission, offer letter processing, student visa application support, and college admission confirmation. Your documents are handled only as necessary for each step.
3.3 Scholarship Assessment
Where you apply for the SamadMBBS Scholarship, the information you share during the WhatsApp interview — including academic records and general financial background — is used solely to assess your scholarship eligibility. This information is not shared with any college, partner, or third party and is not used for any other purpose.
3.4 Communication and Support
Your contact details — mobile number and email — are used to communicate with you throughout the guidance and admission process, to answer your queries, to send you relevant updates about admission deadlines and college information, and to follow up on your application status. We do not send unsolicited marketing messages.
3.5 Website Improvement and Analytics
Automatically collected data about website usage is used to understand which pages are most visited, how users navigate the site, which college guides are most read, and where improvements are needed. This analysis is conducted using Google Analytics and is based on aggregated, anonymised data. It helps us create more useful content for Indian families researching Bangladesh MBBS.
3.6 Advertising Through Google AdSense
SamadMBBS.com displays advertisements through Google AdSense. Google uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve advertisements that are relevant to your interests based on your browsing history across websites. This is explained in detail in Section 8 of this policy. AdSense revenue supports the free operation of this platform and contributes to funding the SamadMBBS scholarship.
4. How We Share Your Information
We treat the personal information you share with us with strict confidentiality. We share your information only where it is genuinely necessary for the service you have requested, and only with parties who have a legitimate, specific need for it in that context. We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not share your information with any party for their own marketing purposes.
4.1 Bangladesh Medical Colleges
Where you have confirmed your intention to apply to a specific Bangladesh medical college through SamadMBBS, we share your application documents with that college’s admissions office for the purpose of seat booking and admission confirmation. The documents shared are limited to what the college formally requires — typically marksheets, passport copy, NEET scorecard, photograph, and completed application form. We do not share financial information, scholarship assessment details, or any personal information beyond the formal application requirements.
4.2 DGME Bangladesh
The DGME (Directorate General of Medical Education), Bangladesh, requires foreign students to submit academic documents and pay an equivalence fee through their official portal at foreignstudents.dgme.gov.bd. Where we assist you with this process, the documents submitted to DGME are submitted on your behalf through the official government portal. This submission is a mandatory part of the Bangladesh admission process and cannot be completed without it.
4.3 Document Attestation Partners
Document attestation from the Ministry of Education India, the Ministry of External Affairs India (MEA), and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bangladesh (MOFA) is a mandatory step in the Bangladesh MBBS admission process. Where we coordinate this attestation on your behalf, your original or certified copy documents are handled by our trusted attestation partners who provide this service. These partners are engaged under strict confidentiality and handle your documents solely for attestation purposes. We share only the documents required for attestation and nothing more.
4.4 Bangladesh Visa Processing Partners
Where we assist with student visa applications, your passport and academic documents may be shared with our visa processing partner or the relevant Bangladesh High Commission or consulate in India. This sharing is limited to what is formally required for the visa application and is conducted in accordance with applicable visa processing guidelines.
4.5 Google and Its Services
SamadMBBS.com uses Google services including Google Analytics for website traffic analysis and Google AdSense for advertising. These services collect data through cookies as described in Section 8. Google processes this data in accordance with Google’s own Privacy Policy available at policies.google.com/privacy. SamadMBBS does not share personally identifiable information — your name, marksheets, or contact details — with Google. The data Google collects through cookies relates to your browsing behaviour on our website and is used by Google for analytics and targeted advertising purposes.
4.6 Legal and Regulatory Requirements
We may disclose your personal information where required to do so by applicable law, court order, or legitimate request by a government authority in India or Bangladesh. We will only disclose the minimum information required to comply with the legal obligation and will inform you of any such disclosure where we are legally permitted to do so.
4.7 What We Never Do With Your Information
- We never sell your personal information to any individual, company, or organisation
- We never share your marksheets, passport, or NEET scorecard with any college other than the specific college you have confirmed you want to apply to
- We never share your information with other admission consultancies or education agents
- We never use your information for purposes beyond what you provided it for
- We never share your financial background or scholarship assessment details with any college or third party
- We never pool your data with other students’ data in a shared database accessible by multiple colleges
5. How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
- Free eligibility checks: Marksheets shared for a free BM&DC GPA calculation are reviewed and not stored beyond the immediate calculation unless you proceed to the full admission process. If you do not proceed, we do not retain copies of your documents.
- Active admission processing: Where we are actively managing your admission, your documents are retained for the duration of the admission process and for a period of 12 months after your admission is confirmed, in case any post-admission document requirements arise from the college or DGME.
- Completed admissions: After 12 months from admission confirmation, we delete personal documents from our systems. We may retain a summary record — your name, college, and session year — for the purpose of our own operational records and to confirm alumni status if you contact us in future.
- Unsuccessful applications: Where an admission is rejected or not completed, we delete your documents within 3 months of the process concluding.
- WhatsApp conversations: WhatsApp conversations are retained in the natural course of the application using WhatsApp’s built-in storage. We do not separately archive or export WhatsApp conversations to external storage.
- Website analytics data: Anonymised analytics data collected through Google Analytics is retained in accordance with Google’s own data retention policies.
6. How We Protect Your Information
We take reasonable measures to protect the personal information you share with us from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. These measures include:
- Secure communication channels: All direct communication with families occurs via WhatsApp, which uses end-to-end encryption. Documents shared via WhatsApp are encrypted in transit.
- Access control: Personal documents shared with SamadMBBS are accessible only to Osama and, where operationally necessary for specific steps of the admission process, to the specific trusted partner handling that step. No one else has access to your documents.
- No public storage: We do not store your documents in publicly accessible cloud drives, shared folders, or any storage system accessible by multiple parties without specific need.
- No unnecessary copies: We do not make unnecessary copies of your documents. Physical documents, where handled during attestation, are returned to you or destroyed after use.
- Website security: SamadMBBS.com is hosted on a secure hosting platform with SSL/HTTPS encryption on all pages. Data transmitted between your browser and our website is encrypted.
While we take all reasonable precautions, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to us via WhatsApp or through the internet. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as soon as practicable and take steps to minimise any harm.
7. Google AdSense and Advertising
SamadMBBS.com participates in the Google AdSense programme. Google AdSense allows Google to serve advertisements on our website. This section explains what this means for your privacy in plain terms.
7.1 How Google AdSense Works
Google AdSense uses cookies — small data files placed on your device — to serve advertisements that are relevant to your interests. Google determines which advertisements to show you based on your previous browsing activity across websites that use Google’s advertising services, your general location, and other factors. This is called interest-based advertising or personalised advertising.
7.2 DoubleClick DART Cookie
Google uses a cookie called the DoubleClick DART cookie to serve advertisements to users of SamadMBBS.com. The DART cookie enables Google to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website and other websites on the internet. You may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting Google’s Ad Settings page at www.google.com/settings/ads.
7.3 What Google Collects
Through AdSense cookies, Google may collect information including your IP address, your browser type and version, the pages you visit on our website, the time and date of your visits, and other information about your browsing behaviour. SamadMBBS does not pass your personally identifiable information — such as your name, contact details, marksheets, or passport details — to Google. Google processes AdSense-related data according to its own Privacy Policy.
7.4 Third-Party Vendors
In addition to Google, other third-party advertising vendors may serve advertisements on our website through the Google AdSense platform. These vendors, like Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites. You can find information about these vendors and their privacy policies at the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page at www.networkadvertising.org.
7.5 Why We Show Advertisements
SamadMBBS is a free platform. We do not charge families for eligibility checks, college information, NMC guidance articles, or most of the information on this website. Advertising revenue from Google AdSense supports the operational costs of running this platform and contributes to the SamadMBBS scholarship fund. We do not accept paid advertisements or sponsored content from any Bangladesh medical college, admission agent, or education company. All college information on this site is editorially independent.
7.6 Opting Out of Personalised Advertising
You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google by visiting Google Ad Settings. You can also opt out of personalised advertising from multiple third-party vendors simultaneously at the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page. Please note that opting out of personalised advertising does not mean you will not see advertisements — it means the advertisements you see will not be targeted based on your browsing history.
8. Cookies — What They Are and How We Use Them
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to website owners. SamadMBBS.com uses cookies for the following purposes:
8.1 Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the basic functioning of our website. They enable core features such as page navigation, security, and access to protected areas of the site. The website cannot function properly without these cookies and they do not collect any personally identifiable information.
8.2 Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics places cookies on your device that collect information about which pages you visit, how long you spend on each page, and how you navigate between pages. This data is aggregated and anonymised — it tells us about overall visitor behaviour, not about you personally. We use this information to improve our content and make our website more useful for families researching Bangladesh MBBS. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
8.3 Advertising Cookies
Google AdSense and associated advertising partners place advertising cookies on your device to serve personalised advertisements as described in Section 7. These cookies track your browsing behaviour across websites to build a profile of your interests. SamadMBBS does not control these cookies — they are set and controlled by Google and its advertising partners.
8.4 How to Control Cookies
Most web browsers allow you to control and delete cookies through your browser settings. You can set your browser to refuse all cookies, to alert you when cookies are being set, or to delete cookies when you close your browser. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website. Instructions for managing cookies in popular browsers are available at:
- Google Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
- Mozilla Firefox: support.mozilla.org
- Safari: support.apple.com
- Microsoft Edge: support.microsoft.com
9. Your Rights Over Your Personal Information
You have rights over the personal information you share with SamadMBBS. We respect these rights and will respond to any request within a reasonable timeframe.
9.1 Right to Access
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. We will provide this within 30 days of a valid request. You can make this request by contacting us via email at [email protected] or on WhatsApp.
9.2 Right to Correction
If any personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to ask us to correct it. Please contact us with the specific correction required and we will update our records promptly.
9.3 Right to Deletion
You have the right to request that we delete the personal information we hold about you. Where we are able to do so — and where doing so does not conflict with a legal obligation or an ongoing service you have requested — we will delete your information within 30 days of your request. Please note that if deletion is requested while an active admission process is underway, deletion of documents will terminate our ability to continue that process on your behalf.
9.4 Right to Withdraw Consent
Where our processing of your personal information is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before the withdrawal. You can withdraw consent by contacting us on WhatsApp or by email.
9.5 Right to Restrict Processing
You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances — for example, while you verify the accuracy of information we hold, or while a complaint is being investigated. Contact us to make this request.
9.6 Right to Data Portability
Where you have provided personal information to us directly, you have the right to receive that information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You can request this by contacting us.
9.7 Right to Object
You have the right to object to our processing of your personal information for direct marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to receive WhatsApp messages about admission deadlines, scholarship updates, or college information from SamadMBBS, please message us on WhatsApp or email us and we will remove you from our communication list immediately.
10. Children and Minors
MBBS applicants in Bangladesh are typically 17 years of age or older at the time of application. Where a student applying through SamadMBBS is under 18 years of age, we require that a parent or legal guardian is involved in all communications and provides consent for the collection and processing of the student’s personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
11. Information Collected Through YouTube
The Samad Vlogs MBBS YouTube channel is hosted on YouTube, a Google platform. When you watch videos on that channel, YouTube collects information about your viewing behaviour in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy and YouTube’s Terms of Service. SamadMBBS does not independently collect personal information about individual viewers through YouTube. Comments left on YouTube videos are public and subject to YouTube’s own community guidelines and privacy terms. We may respond to comments on the channel for informational purposes but we do not collect or store commenter information independently.
12. WhatsApp Data
Our primary communication channel is WhatsApp, operated by WhatsApp LLC, a subsidiary of Meta Platforms Inc. WhatsApp messages are end-to-end encrypted, meaning the content of your messages cannot be read by WhatsApp or Meta in transit. When you communicate with us on WhatsApp, the data you share is subject to WhatsApp’s own Privacy Policy in addition to this policy.
Documents — such as marksheets, NEET scorecards, and passport copies — shared via WhatsApp are transmitted using WhatsApp’s encrypted infrastructure. Once received on our device, we store these only in our device’s local storage and only for as long as necessary for the service you have requested, as described in Section 5 of this policy.
We do not screenshot, share, or republish any personal conversation or document shared with us on WhatsApp without your explicit permission. Your WhatsApp conversations with SamadMBBS are treated as confidential.
13. Cross-Border Data Transfers
SamadMBBS operates across India and Bangladesh. When we share your documents with Bangladesh medical colleges, DGME Bangladesh, MOFA Bangladesh, or our attestation partners in Bangladesh, your personal information is transferred from India to Bangladesh. This cross-border transfer is necessary for the Bangladesh MBBS admission process and cannot be completed without it. By engaging our services for Bangladesh MBBS admission, you consent to this cross-border transfer of your documents.
Data processed by Google Analytics and Google AdSense may be transferred to and stored on Google’s servers in the United States and other countries. This transfer is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and applicable data transfer frameworks.
14. Applicable Law and Compliance
This Privacy Policy is prepared with reference to the following applicable laws and frameworks:
- Information Technology Act, 2000 (India) and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (SPDI Rules) — which govern the collection, storage, and processing of sensitive personal data by entities operating in India. Academic records, financial information, and biometric data (passport details) may constitute sensitive personal data under these rules.
- Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) — India’s primary data protection legislation, which establishes obligations for data fiduciaries regarding the collection, use, and protection of personal data of Indian citizens. SamadMBBS operates as a data fiduciary in respect of personal data collected from Indian students and families, and we are committed to compliance with the obligations of this Act as they come into force.
- Google AdSense Programme Policies — including requirements to disclose the use of cookies and interest-based advertising to users, which we have done in Sections 7 and 8 of this policy.
We are not currently subject to the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as we do not intentionally offer services to users in the European Economic Area. However, where any EEA-based user accesses our website, we apply reasonable data protection standards consistent with the principles of GDPR.
15. Links to Other Websites
SamadMBBS.com contains links to external websites including college official websites, the DGME portal, the NMC India portal, the BM&DC website, YouTube, and other resources. This Privacy Policy applies only to SamadMBBS.com and our direct communications with you. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any external website. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit, particularly when sharing personal information.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, changes in applicable law, or improvements in our data practices. When we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. For significant changes that affect how we handle personal information you have already shared with us, we will notify you directly via WhatsApp or email where practicable.
The most current version of this Privacy Policy is always available at samadmbbs.com/privacy-policy/. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
17. How to Contact Us About Privacy

We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve any concern directly before escalating to a regulatory authority.
