● MBBS Bangladesh eligibility tool

Check your MBBS eligibility for Bangladesh

Check your academic and NEET details against the screening criteria currently configured for the 2026–27 admission assessment. See the checks one by one, understand what needs attention, and request a human document review if you need certainty.

Rule-based screeningChecks the academic and NEET conditions encoded on this page instead of giving a generic percentage result.
Clear pass / attention flagsSee the individual checks, estimated GPA values and the areas that require document-level review.
Human review availableIf the result is unclear, send your assessment to SamadMBBS for a document-based review.
Important: use the information exactly as it appears on your certificates and NEET result. The result is a preliminary screening only; original documents and the rules applicable to your admission session determine final eligibility.
Optional document review: You can complete the calculator without uploading anything. If you want a human review, the final step lets you attach your Class 10, Class 12 and NEET records with separate consent controls.

05 · Confirm & assess

Check your details before submitting

Please confirm that the information below is taken from your official records. Incorrect information can produce an incorrect screening result.

Optional: upload your documents for human review

If you want SamadMBBS to review the actual records, you can attach your Class 10 marksheet, Class 12 marksheet and NEET scorecard here. Clear PDF, JPG or PNG files are accepted.

Privacy: document upload is optional. When connected to the SamadMBBS lead workflow, uploaded files are stored in a private document folder controlled by SamadMBBS and the file references are linked to your assessment record. They are intended for eligibility/admission assistance and should not be treated as a public upload. Do not upload documents you are not authorized to share.
Upload limits: up to 3 files, PDF/JPG/PNG only, maximum 5 MB per file and 12 MB total. The checker does not require document upload to calculate the preliminary result.
How it works

A screening process built around the actual application details

The goal is not to reduce your admission profile to one percentage. The checker separates the major conditions so you can see which part of your profile is passing, failing or still requires document review.

01

Enter your records

Use your final Class 10, Class 12 and NEET records. Do not enter predicted or estimated marks.

02

Calculate the GPA screens

The checker converts the supplied percentages using the screening conversion table and evaluates the applicable GPA conditions separately.

03

Review every check

You see the individual academic, Biology, NEET and session-status checks instead of only a single green or red answer.

04

Get human help if needed

If anything is uncertain, send your assessment ID and details to SamadMBBS for a document-based review.

Step-by-step visual walkthrough: coming soon

A short presentation or motion walkthrough can be added here later to show students exactly how to fill each step without changing the eligibility logic or page structure.

Important: A calculator can screen the information you provide; it cannot authenticate your certificates, issue a DGME equivalence decision, reserve a medical-college seat or determine whether a particular programme satisfies every NMC requirement.
Read the result correctly

What your screening result actually means

A result from this page is a starting point for document review. It is deliberately designed to show the reasoning behind the screen rather than hide everything behind a single “eligible” label.

Preliminary pass

All hard checks pass

Your entered profile passes the hard screening checks currently encoded. You should still verify the applicable session circular, equivalence, documents and college-specific requirements before making a financial or admission decision.

Review required

Some information needs attention

A session-specific rule, subject diagnostic or document-dependent issue may need human review. Recheck your marks and NEET record first, then request a document-based assessment if necessary.

Hard check failed

One or more configured conditions fail

The profile does not currently pass every hard screening condition encoded on this page. This is not a rejection by DGME; it means the supplied information does not pass this preliminary screen.

What you should keep ready

For the cleanest result, keep the actual records beside you while completing the assessment. This page is primarily designed for Indian students considering MBBS or an equivalent primary medical qualification in Bangladesh.

  • Class 10 marksheet and passing certificate
  • Class 12 marksheet and passing certificate
  • Physics, Chemistry and Biology marks from the final Class 12 result
  • NEET qualification/result record and result declaration date
  • The exact board name shown on your academic record

Why the result may need a human review

Foreign academic qualifications are ultimately evaluated through the applicable equivalence and admission process. A percentage entered into a calculator is not the same thing as an official equivalence determination.

That is why this page deliberately shows screening conversion rather than claiming that it can issue an official eligibility certificate.

Not sure whether your profile really qualifies?

Do not make an admission decision from a calculator alone. Send your assessment to SamadMBBS and request a human review of the academic and NEET details you entered. We can use the assessment ID to understand what the tool checked and where the profile needs attention.

Documents & privacy

Your documents are optional and kept separate from the public page

The eligibility calculator can work without document uploads. Uploading documents is only for applicants who want a human review of their actual records.

What can be uploaded?

  • Class 10 marksheet or certificate
  • Class 12 marksheet or certificate
  • NEET scorecard/result record
  • PDF, JPG or PNG files within the stated upload limits

What happens to an uploaded file?

When a document is uploaded, the file is uploaded to a private SamadMBBS-controlled document folder and a reference to that file is saved with the assessment record. The public website does not display the uploaded document.

Important: private storage and controlled access are the intended workflow, but no online service should be described as absolutely risk-free. SamadMBBS should restrict Drive/account access to the people who actually handle admissions and should publish a clear privacy policy before collecting documents at scale.

Future CRM: the current Google Sheets + private document-storage workflow is deliberately structured around the Assessment ID. Later, the same Assessment ID can be mapped to an EspoCRM Lead/Student record and the document references can be migrated into a controlled document module without changing the student-facing checker.
Current rule set

Official criteria used for this assessment

The assessment uses the latest published DGME foreign-student non-government circular located on the official notice system, together with the applicable NMC framework. The 2026–27 rule set is explicitly marked provisional until DGME publishes the applicable circular.

Rule status for this page: 2026–27 is the selected assessment session, but the latest DGME foreign-student non-government circular located on the official DGME notice system is for 2025–26 (published 10 November 2025). This checker therefore uses the published 2025–26 academic criteria as a provisional inherited rule set until DGME publishes the applicable 2026–27 circular. It does not invent 2026–27 year limits.
Source & review note: This page separates official-source requirements from SamadMBBS's own screening logic. Official DGME/NMC statements are identified in the table below; percentage-to-GPA conversion is labelled as a screening conversion where applicable. The page should be re-reviewed whenever DGME or NMC publishes a relevant update.

SourceCriterionWhat the official document states
DGME · Academic recordsQualifying examinationMust have passed O-level and A-level or equivalent examinations with science background.
DGME · O-level2025–26 year ruleFor the 2025–26 circular: O-level/equivalent examination passed not before 2022. This historical session-specific year rule is displayed for reference and is not silently treated as a confirmed 2026–27 rule.
DGME · A-level2025–26 year ruleFor the 2025–26 circular: A-level/equivalent examination passed in 2024 or 2025. This historical session-specific year rule is displayed for reference and is not silently treated as a confirmed 2026–27 rule.
DGME · TimingGap between examinationsThe 2025–26 circular states that the A-level/equivalent examination must be completed within 3 years of the O-level/equivalent examination. The 2026–27 applicability of this session-specific condition awaits the new circular.
DGME · GPACombined academic GPAAt least aggregated GPA 7.00 across the O-level/equivalent and A-level/equivalent examinations, using the individual 5-point GPA scale.
DGME · GPAMinimum GPA in each examinationA GPA below 3.50 in any single examination is not considered. The checker therefore evaluates the Class 10/O-level-equivalent GPA and the Class 12/A-level-equivalent GPA separately before accepting the combined 7.00 requirement.
DGME · Subject screenIndividual PCB subject checkThe production screening also flags any Physics, Chemistry or Biology grade point below 3.50. This is deliberately conservative: the 2025–26 circular expressly sets Biology at GP 3.50 and states that a GPA below 3.50 in any single examination is not considered; any subject-level exception should therefore be resolved from the applicant’s original marksheet/equivalence review rather than silently passed by the calculator.
DGME · O-level GPATop 5 subjectsOnly the top 5 O-level/equivalent subjects are considered. The checker asks for those five subjects individually and calculates their GPA from the published percentage-to-GPA table.
DGME · A-level GPAPCB calculationOnly Physics, Chemistry and Biology are considered for the A-level/equivalent GPA. The checker calculates the average of the three subject grade points.
DGME · BiologyBiology minimumBiology must have GP 3.50, stated as at least 60% marks, in the A-level/12th-equivalent examination.
NMC · NEETNEET qualificationNMC states that Indian Citizens/OCI intending to obtain a primary medical qualification outside India must qualify NEET, subject to the applicable eligibility framework.
NMC · NEETNEET validityNMC's study-abroad information states that the NEET result is valid for three years from the date of declaration. The checker therefore does not treat the three-year rule as a simple arbitrary calendar-year rule in its rule engine.
DGME · Foreign-student seatsNon-government foreign-student quotaThe 2025–26 non-government circular states that the maximum number of foreign students in non-government medical/dental institutions is 45% of their total allocated seats. This is an institutional seat-allocation rule, not an individual eligibility calculation.
DGME · DocumentsAttestation / originalsThe 2025–26 non-government circular requires duly attested certificates and states that successful applicants have to produce academic certificates, admit cards and mark-sheets/transcripts in original at admission.
DGME · ApplicationOnline application / equivalence feeThe 2025–26 non-government circular specifies online application and a US$100 non-refundable equivalence fee. These are application-process requirements, not academic eligibility calculations, and are therefore not used to produce a green/red academic result.
DGME · PolicyBM&DC admission policyThe 2025–26 circular states that the National Policy for Admission of Students to MBBS and BDS Courses for that academic year by BM&DC applies. The checker does not pretend to encode every procedural provision of that policy.
NMC · FMGLForeign medical programme complianceFMGL 2021 and later NMC guidance contain programme-level conditions such as course duration, internship, medium of instruction and other requirements. This checker does not declare a particular foreign medical college/programme compliant; those must be verified separately for the exact programme and intake.

Frequently asked questions

MBBS in Bangladesh eligibility checker: FAQ

These answers explain what this checker does, what it does not decide, and how to use the result responsibly when planning an MBBS application to Bangladesh.

Is this an official DGME admission decision?
No. This is a preliminary screening tool created by SamadMBBS. It does not issue an admission letter, equivalence certificate, seat allocation, visa decision or official eligibility decision. Final eligibility depends on the applicable DGME circular, the competent authority's equivalence process, original documents and the admission requirements applicable to the relevant session.
Which rules does the 2026–27 checker use?
The interface is labelled for the 2026–27 assessment, but as of the review date shown on this page, the latest DGME foreign-student non-government circular located in the official notice system is the 2025–26 circular published on 10 November 2025. The academic rules from that published circular are therefore used as a provisional inherited rule set until the applicable 2026–27 circular is published. The page does not invent a 2026–27 year rule that has not been published.
What academic GPA does the checker calculate?
For the published DGME screening rule set, the O-level/Class 10-equivalent GPA uses the top five subjects. The A-level/Class 12-equivalent GPA uses Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The checker converts each supplied percentage to the published 5-point screening grade scale, calculates the two examination GPAs separately, and then checks the combined academic GPA requirement.
Why do I have to enter five Class 10 subjects?
Because the published DGME circular says that only the top five O-level/equivalent subjects are considered for GPA calculation. Enter the five highest-scoring relevant subjects from your final marksheet. The checker does not simply take a single overall Class 10 percentage.
Why are Physics, Chemistry and Biology entered separately?
The published circular specifies that only Physics, Chemistry and Biology are considered for the A-level/equivalent GPA calculation. Entering them separately allows the checker to show the subject-level values and calculate the PCB-based examination GPA transparently.
What happens if Physics or Chemistry is below the 3.50 grade-point band?
The checker flags the subject-level value for attention and, more importantly, recalculates the Class 12/A-level-equivalent GPA from the three PCB grade points. The published DGME rule expressly states that a GPA below 3.50 in a single examination is not considered, while the A-level/equivalent GPA is calculated from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Because the wording concerns the examination GPA rather than a separate hard cut-off for every individual PCB subject, the page treats the individual subject flag as a diagnostic/review signal rather than silently inventing an additional official hard rule.
What does the Biology requirement mean?
The published 2025–26 non-government foreign-student criteria require GP 3.50 in Biology, stated as at least 60% marks, in the A-level/Class 12-equivalent examination. The checker therefore evaluates Biology separately as well as including Biology in the PCB GPA calculation.
Do I need to qualify NEET?
For Indian Citizens/OCI intending to obtain a primary medical qualification outside India, NMC's study-abroad information states that NEET qualification is mandatory under the applicable framework. The checker therefore asks whether you qualified NEET and records the NEET result date. The official NMC page also states that the NEET result is valid for three years from the date of declaration.
Why does the checker ask for my NEET result declaration date?
Because NMC describes the three-year validity period from the date of declaration of the result. Using the actual result date is more precise than assuming that every result in a particular calendar year expires on the same day.
Does my Class 12 passing year have to match my NEET year?
No. The checker deliberately evaluates the Class 12 passing year separately from the NEET year. A student's academic completion year and NEET qualification year are separate pieces of information. The applicable session-specific admission rules and the NEET validity framework determine how they interact.
What if my board or marksheet does not fit this percentage-to-GPA conversion?
Do not force your marks into the calculator if your certificate uses a grading system or equivalence format that cannot be represented accurately. The conversion shown here is a screening conversion based on the published Bangladesh equivalence scale. An official equivalence determination may require the competent authority to review your actual certificate and grading system.
Does passing this checker guarantee admission to a medical college?
No. Passing the screening checks does not guarantee a seat. College availability, institutional seat allocation, the application process, document authentication, equivalence, visa requirements, the applicable BM&DC admission policy and other session-specific conditions can still affect admission.
Does this checker confirm that a Bangladesh medical college is NMC-approved?
No. NMC explicitly states that it does not endorse a list of foreign medical institutions or universities. The suitability and compliance of a specific programme must be checked separately against the applicable Indian rules and the actual programme details. This calculator is only an applicant-level eligibility screen.
What should I do if the result says “Some eligibility checks need attention”?
First, compare every displayed value with your original marksheet and NEET record. If the information is correct but the result is still unclear, use the human review button and send the assessment to SamadMBBS. Include your assessment ID and, when requested, the relevant documents so the result can be reviewed against the actual records.
Will the checker be updated when DGME publishes the 2026–27 circular?
Yes. The rule configuration is kept separate from the visual page so session-specific criteria can be updated without rebuilding the entire interface. When a new official circular is published, the relevant source, rule version, year conditions and any changed academic criteria should be reviewed before the production configuration is updated.
Can I upload my Class 10, Class 12 and NEET documents?
Yes. Upload is optional. You can attach a Class 10 marksheet, Class 12 marksheet and NEET scorecard in PDF, JPG or PNG format within the stated size limits. If you select files, you must give the document-upload consent. The files are intended for human eligibility review and are not displayed publicly.
Can SamadMBBS use my documents later for admission assistance?
Only if you separately provide the optional future-retention consent and later request those services. The purpose of that consent is to allow the documents to remain associated with your assessment so they can support future application assistance, document review or offer-letter processing. You can choose not to give this optional consent.
Will my information or documents be sent anywhere?
The assessment data can be sent to the configured Google Sheets lead endpoint when that connection is enabled. Document uploads are optional and, when the document workflow is enabled, are stored in the private document folder configured for SamadMBBS with their file references linked to the assessment ID. WhatsApp is opened only when you choose to request a human review. Before collecting documents at scale, SamadMBBS should publish a clear privacy policy, define retention/deletion procedures and restrict access to the people who need the files for admissions work.
